Student Support Programs consist of four different programs: Educational Opportunity Program (EOP), Promoting Achievement through Hope (PATH), Student Support Services (SSS), and University Outreach.
EOP provides first-generation incoming students from historically underserved backgrounds with the tools that will help them succeed in college and ultimately graduate. The PATH program empowers foster youth, students who were adopted, students who are in guardianship or kinship, and students who have experienced homelessness through higher education. SSS provides assistance to first-generation and income-qualified students as well as students with disabilities. University Outreach looks to motivate and inform students, educators and families of the benefits of higher education and goal-setting for a brighter future.
“EOP has definitely been the most positive experience I ever been a part of, definitely nice having a center to hang out where they pronounce your name correctly”-Mirza Hernandez
“PATH has helped me in knowing that it is possible to succeed as a college student. It has opened doors for me. PATH made me realize that I could do so much more. Just because I am a foster youth, does not mean I am constricted, on the contrary it has shown me all that is possible for me.”-Lina Severino
“SSS has given me the opportunity to meet many students and establish the best friendships, without SSS I would be lost.” – Selena Lainez
“University Outreach has given me a platform to touch the lives of countless youth through my 2.5 year participation in the program.” -Olivia Hernandez
