The Creative Writing Program offers students a variety of genres to try and then to develop if they choose. After one of our introductory courses, where students can experiment, find their voices, and learn the craft, they can immerse themselves by taking courses in fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry, screen writing, and writing for the stage. We also offer two courses in publishing: in one, the students take a book from manuscript to publication; in the other, students create The Island Fox literary journal, from soliciting creative work to publishing the journal both in print and on line.
